Swiss-born fashion designer Lela Scherrer founded her studio for fashion and concept design in Antwerp / Basel in 2002. Working on innovation-driven design across fashion, textiles and interior, she has been collaborating with leading houses, interior design collections and theater productions. Beyond her studio practice, Lela holds assignments as an innovation research consultant and brand and design advisor in retail. She teaches as a guest lecturer at multiple universities of art and design, where she contributes to both creative education and design research, and acts as a jury member for design commissions and competitions. Her seasonless, made-to-measure collection offers one-of-a-kind garments and small series without expiry date, handmade in Switzerland, embodying quality, longevity, and refined contemporary craftsmanship.
